This is the 1st game in the series to use 3D computer graphics, featuring fully rendered characters on pre-rendered backgrounds. You take on the role of Cloud Strife , posing as a former member of SOLDIER now operating as a mercenary caught up in the actions of eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE. Cloud’s mission: hunt down a long-thought dead warrior named Sephiroth, stop him from draining all of the Lifestream from the Planet and avenge the destruction of his hometown.
