About this game

The Earth has become a wasteland as Hell’s armies pour forth from across dimensions in an all-out invasion.

• Take control of the DOOM Slayer once again in a high-speed, adrenaline-pumping fight to save the Earth from the invading armies of Hell.
• Make use of a vast arsenal of demon-slaying weapons. Upgrade your guns, mods and abilities to push the pace even further.
• Don’t lose your rhythm — use glory kills to gain health, incinerate demons to get armor, and slice them down with your chainsaw to stock up on ammo.
• Challenge your friends in the new asymmetric PvP mode, Battlemode, where a fully kitted DOOM Slayer takes on two player-controlled demons in intense 5-round battles.

Doom Eternal, like its predecessor, is at least memorable—jaw-dropping, groan-worthy, and everything in between. And that’s what I love about it.

It’s bright and loud, hyper violent yet tastefully refined, and absolutely draining. I can’t recall playing a shooter where sensory overload was one of the most common reasons for death.

Id stumbles very occasionally in its ambition to expand on 2016, but you won’t care when you’re enjoying the best combat in shooters. Pure, animalistic catharsis.
