To celebrate Bungies 30-year anniversary as a game studio it has put together a series of celebratory events for Destiny 2 both free and paid. The “30th Anniversary Pack” contains a series of exclusive items and missions including but not limited to; A new exotic weapon, a new dungeon, four emotes, an exotic ship and sparrow, two universal ornament sets, and a unique helmet ornament.  

• Inspired by the cosmodrome loot caves of Destiny 1, explore deep within these caves where many treasure hunters did before and get the chance to earn the thorn armor set.
• The famed and feared exotic Rocket Launcher of Destiny 1 the legendary Gjallarhorn makes its return to Destiny 2, completes a series of quests to get this as a reward.
• The new collection of weapons, armor, ornaments, emotes, ghost shells, and sparrows is based on previous Bungie Games like Marathon franchise, Myth franchise, halo franchise, etc.
