The world and its inhabitants are in peril as toxic oil starts coming up from the earth, polluting the Tree of Life. To save it, players will need to go to the end of each of its five roots where, aside from the poisonous oil, a creature slowly destroys the root by gnawing at it.

• Explore the game world using a jetski, mech, or air-balloon, in special areas.
• Players may also need to equip special gear to gain safe access to some locations.
• Alter their character’s appearance through mutation, which also affects the abilities players can unlock and use.
• Combat involves a mixture of agile maneuvers, hacking and shooting, plus the use of different powers.
• There’s also a decision-making mechanic that affects the story and the world.
